About this Beach
The southern end of the Birżebbuġa seafront sits directly opposite Malta Freeport, one of the largest container transhipment hubs in the Mediterranean. The contrast between the industrial cranes across the water and the clear swimming just below your feet is one of Malta's stranger sights.
