About this Beach
The name means Red Cave in Maltese, a reference to the iron rich limestone that glows warmest in the early morning light. Away from any main road and rarely visited, this is one of the least known stretches of Malta's southern coast with excellent snorkelling.

By car
Off the coast road between Marsaxlokk and Birżebbuġa.
By bus
Bus 81 to Marsaxlokk, then car or 30-min walk.
