About this Beach
The name means bay of the pomegranates, a fruit that has grown on these hillsides since the Arab period. A 2006 proposal to develop the bay as a commercial yacht marina was rejected after significant public opposition, leaving it much as it has always been.

From Qala village, follow the road down to the bay.

Bus 322 to Nadur, then taxi or car.
