About this Beach
The watchtower at Qawra Point was built by Grand Master Lascaris in the 1640s as part of a chain of coastal defences and still stands at the tip of the peninsula. Five monitoring points are spread around the headland, covering a good range of conditions and exposures depending on the wind direction.
Follow Dawret il-Qawra around the Qawra peninsula.
Buses 41, 43 to Bugibba/Qawra.
