About this Beach
The name is Italian for here one heals, a reference to the health resort reputation this stretch of promenade held in the nineteenth century when Maltese doctors prescribed sea bathing as treatment. The iron ladders and stone steps into the water look much as they did a hundred years ago.

On the Sliema seafront at Qui-Si-Sana, toward the Tower Road end.
By bus
Buses 12, 13, 14, 21 to Sliema, then short walk.
